Step One: Go to System Preferences.
Step Two: Go to Printers & Scanners.
Step Three: Select your department printer.

Step Four: Click Options & Supplies.

Step Five: Select Options Again.
Step Six: Check Department ID Management and select ok.

Step Seven: Go back into printer options & supplies and select utility.

Step Eight: Select Printer Utility, on the drop-down menu "under user management" select Department ID Management.

Step Nine: Enter PIN into Department ID.
Step Ten: Select printer Information, verify will now populate.

Step Eleven: Save settings.
